Windsor Royal Station
Located opposite the castle, Windsor Royal Station is a relatively recent addition to Windsor's shopping scene. The development is aimed at the fashion-conscious visitor but there are also numerous places to eat and drink (see next page).
Shops include DAKS, Droopy & Brown's, East, French Connection, Hobbs, Jackpot & Cottonfield, Jaeger, Patsy Seddon, Ronit Zikha, Storm and Viyella. There are also a number of stores selling fashionable accessories and items for the home.
Peascod Street is Windsor's main shopping street. Most common chain stores are represented here, such as Marks & Spencer, Boots & Woolworth. There are two fine bookstores where, in addition to a full range of popular books, you can buy maps, guidebooks and books about Royalty, Windsor & the surrounding area.
Caley's, High St (opposite the Guildhall). Caley's is part of the John Lewis chain.
Daniel, Peascod Street (don't forget the locals pronounce it Pesscod Street!). Daniel is a family owned department store which has a restaurant and a French coffee shop.
